Teens Level 3

Volleyball Classes for teenagers at Astoria and Long Island City. Level 3 is based on players that are defining the position they will play (libero, setter, mid block, outside or right side hitter). They will spend time learning different rotations, and also where placing the ball during the game. This group also works a lot on service (crucial for stepping in level 4).

At this level we start forming teams to compete at local tournaments. We also organize our own tournaments and leagues.

Indoor sessions at Q501 Frank Sinatra School. Requirements: serve over the net. Good ball control (sufficient to direct the ball to setter or attacker). We will help players develop their position of choice (setter, libero, OH, MB, RH), learn rotations, transitions, and areas of coverage (4x2 and 5x1).

INSTRUCTIONAL LEAGUE. Please read schedule details: Days: TUESDAY 7/8 from 6-9pm. THURSDAY 7/10 from 6-9pm. FRIDAY 7/11 from 6-9pm. TUESDAY 7/15 from 6-9pm. THURSDAY 7/17 from 6-9pm. FRIDAY 7/18 from 6pm to 9pm. FRIDAY 7/25 from 6-9pm.
