Level 5

Sessions for players that are currently competing for teams. Players clearly understand their positioning in court and different rotations. Available spots are very limited. Practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:15pm to 8:45pm at Q301 Academy for Careers in Television at Long Island City.

Also join this session if you want to be evaluated for the advanced levels (3, 4 and 5). The fee is only $20 if you register prior to September 6th. After fee will become $35. High-intensity weekend clinics coming up at Frank Sinatra School (Q501) in Astoria. First one will happen September 18th (Friday) 6:15pm to 8:45pm, and Saturday September 19th (Saturday) from 9:15am to 11:45pm. Focus: Attack and Serve Clinic. The second day is Set & Attack. The second clinic will happen 9/25 and 9/26. Focus: Libero & Defense Specialist, Set and Attack (progression from the prior week). One day for $60, two days for $100. CLICK HERE for more details. OCT/NOV/DEC - Mandatory knowledge of rotations 5x1 and 4x2 and also have a specific position of play (setter, libero, middle blocker, outside hitter...). Season is mostly games and scrimmages. Please be attentive to the days and locations as follows: Days: 1) October 2 (Fri 7:30pm to 8:50pm), 2) October 9 (Fri 7:30pm to 8:50pm), 3) October 16 ( Friday at BQE Fitness from 6-8pm games against William United), 4) October 23 (Friday 7:30pm at Frank Sinatra School), 5) October 30 (Friday 7:30pm at Frank Sinatra School), 6) November 6 (Friday BQE Fitness 6-8pm games against William United), 7) November 12 (Thu 7-9pm scrimmage against William United at Hunters Point Campus), 8) November 20 (Friday 7:30pm to 8:50pm), no session 11/27 thanksgiving holiday, 9) December 4 (tournament Friday 6pm to 9pm at Frank Sinatra), 10) December18 (Friday 7:30pm to 8:50pm games). AUGUST: Indoor sessions for LEVELS 3, 4 and 5 at BQE Fitness at Astoria. TUESDAY 11th 5-7pm (sharpening up ball control). THURSDAY 13th 5-7pm (serving and attacking). TUESDAY 18th 5-7pm (Blocking and Defense). THURSDAY 20th 5-7pm (anticipation, ball trajectory, and court positioning). THURSDAY 27th 5-7pm (all skills review).

JULY INDOORS LEVEL 5 LEAGUE. Days: TUESDAY 7/7 from 6-9pm. THURSDAY 7/9 from 6-9pm. SATURDAY 7/11 from 9am to 12pm. TUESDAY 7/14 from 6-9pm. THURSDAY 7/16 from 6-9pm. SATURDAY 7/18 from 9am to 12pm. TUESDAY 7/21 from 6pm to 9pm, SATURDAY 7/25 9am to 12pm, TUESDAY 7/28 from 6-9pm. Fee is $575.
