Teens Level 2

Volleyball Classes for teenagers at Astoria and Long Island City. Level 2 is for players that have achieved better ball control and know the basics of how to pass, set, spike and serve. 

Basic skills to achieve this level: 1) great communication skills. 2) really good foot work (capacity to move after the ball). 3) understand and perform well all basic techniques.

It is very important the player repeats the drills learned in class at least 2-3x a week on their own or attend other classes with us.

Minimal age is 11 years old for outdoor programs or programs at Astoria. Minimal age is 13 years old for indoor programs at Long Island City. Every participant should have their own volleyball and bring it to every practice.

Outdoor volleyball classes for level 2 players on Sundays from 9am to 10:15am at Astoria Park (Triborough Bridge Playground A). Days: 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/19. Seven sessions for $175. REGISTER NOW

Volleyball Classes at Astoria at Q501 Frank Sinatra School at Astoria from 6:15pm to 7:30pm (these days also accommodate kids above 8 years old). CLICK HERE to watch a video of these classes.

AUGUST AND SEPTEMBER. Sessions at Astoria on Mondays from 7:30pm to 8:50pm and Sundays 2:30pm to 3:50pm at Q501 Frank Sinatra School as follows: 9/7, 9/8, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28, 9/29, 10/5, 10/6, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26 (this last day we will have a mini-tournament from 2-3:30pm).
